i want to get an ‘invisible shield’ for my ipod touch-is it waterproof? What about the earphone hole?

my main thing is if i put on the invisible shield totally properly and everything and then throw it in the pool two days later with the earphones out-will it be okay? If i leave it there for like three hours? will the glue hold up?

What? Even with a screen protector you still don’t want to throw it in a pool. That will ruin it. The screen protector will just cover the screen.
The water will just seep in through the dock port, the headphone hole, or in the crack around the screen. Or around the edges of the on/off button or volume button.
A screen protector ISN’T going to make it waterproof……
